These songs recorded on a ‘city’ retreat (in Amsterdam!) during that first covid winter and I was experimenting for the first time with my Strymon Engineering BigSky (reverb) and TimeLine (delay) effects pedals. I chose this particular cabin because it was all wooden and had the interior theme of Marrakesh. I was totally inspired by being in nature and created these pieces spontaneously from the heart.
